MarineTech is owned and operated by Phil Daniels, a Kiwi with more than 20 year's experience in the local marine industry.
Phil's love of boating dates all the way back to his childhood. Born and raised near the sea, Phil grew up like many of us: as a youngster he played around with rubber dinghies, then discovered row boats, sail boats and power boats. These days Phil is as passionate as ever about boating, and devotes his working life to running MarineTech. Most Auckland-based marine professionals know Phil and have worked with him at one time or another.
We enjoy a great relationship with Pinnacle Marine, an Auckland-based brokerage firm that specializes in luxury European yachts. We manage all delivery logistics on behalf of Pinnacle and ensure that new boats are forwarded to their owners in pristine condition. In 2019, for example, Pinnacle sold a trio of Azimut yachts, and a fourth boat (an Azimut Grande Metri 35) is scheduled for delivery in 2020. We're proud to say we played a part in all of this.
The following sequence shows our involvement with the delivery of an Azimut Flybridge 66. The yacht was sold to a local buyer and transported from Italy to New Zealand in mid 2019. We managed the delivery and were then invited to a gala event to celebrate the yacht's arrival here in Auckland.
